The Head of BPS for West Sulawesi Province, the Head of BPS for Mamuju Regency, and the Head of the Agricultural Quarantine Station, jointly supervised the agricultural census on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. The activity in Galung hamlet, Papang village, Mamuju district was part of a commitment to collaborate with related agencies in an effort to make the 2023 Agricultural Census successful. The head of the station, Agus Karyono, apart from sharing information on assisted farmers, also had discussions with the ST2023 field officers to find out the mechanism for recording agricultural data by officers. Agus supports the implementation of ST2023 with the hope that the resulting data can be used to support efforts to improve farmers' welfare.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Provincial BPS, Tina Wahyu Fitri, invited all residents, especially those involved in the agricultural business, to actively participate by welcoming the ST2023 data collection officers and providing actual data so that the results of the agricultural census can be used optimally in identifying Indonesia's agricultural potential in a timely manner. and accurate.
