Abstract

• Sulawesi Barat's economy in quarter III-2018 based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of current prices reached 11.38 trillion Rupiah, while on the basis of constant prices in 2010 it reached 8.09 trillion Rupiah. 

• Sulawesi Barat's economy in quarter III-2018 when compared to the same quarter of 2017 (y on y) experienced a growth of 7.90 percent. The highest growth of 13.60 percent occurred in the processing industry business field. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was the component of government consumption expenditure of 17.18 percent.

• Sulawesi Barat's economy in quarter III-2018 increased by 6.47 percent (q to q). In terms of business sector, the highest growth in the field of business administration, defense, and social security is mandatory at 44.89 percent. While in terms of expenditure, it was achieved by the Government Consumption Expenditure component which increased significantly by 45.77 percent.

• In accumulation, the economy of Sulawesi Barat in the first quarter III-2018 (c to c) grew 6.74 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was in the manufacturing industry with 13.26 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest was the component of government consumption expenditure which grew by 8.52 percent. 

• On a regional scale in Sulampua Region, regional economic growth which was the highest in quarter III-2018 (q to q) occurred in Sulawesi Barat at 6.47 percent. In y on y, the highest economic growth in quarter III-2018 occurred in North Maluku at 8.17 percent. While Sulawesi Barat is in second place. And cumulatively until the third quarter of 2018, the highest growth occurred in Papua which amounted to 18.34 percent. The Sulawesi Barat is in fifth place.
