Overview of Inflation/Consumer Price Index in September 2019

Abstract

Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey of 82 cities in Indonesia in September 2019, it showed that 12 cities experienced inflation and 70 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Meulaboh by 0.91 percent and the lowest in Palopo and Watampone by 0.01 percent, while the highest deflation occurred in Sibolga by 1.94 percent and the lowest in Surabaya by 0.02 percent. Mamuju with deflation of 0.52 percent ranks 20th out of 70 cities experiencing deflation.
