September 2020: The level of expenditure inequality 0.356 Residents in Sulawesi Barat

Abstract

• In September 2020, the level of expenditure inequality Sulawesi Barat population as measured by the Gini ratio was recorded at 0.356. This is down 0.008 points when compared with the Gini Ratio in March 2020. Meanwhile, compared with September 2019 the Gini ratio of 0.365, the Gini Ratio September 2020 fell by 0.009 points.

• Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2020 amounted to 0.437, an increase of 0.001 when compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2020 amounted to 0.436 and decreased by 0,001 compared to the Gini Ratio September 2019 amounted to 0.438. While the Gini ratio in rural areas at September 2020 amounted to 0.321 are likely to remain good if compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2020 and increased by 0,001 when compared to September 2019 the Gini Ratio of 0.320.

• In September 2020, the expenditure distribution bottom 40 percent population group amounted to 19.80 percent. This means that the expenditure of the population still in the category Low levels of inequality. When broken down by region, in urban areas the figure was recorded at 17.00 per cent, which means that are in the category of moderate inequality. While in rural areas, the figure was recorded at 21.11 percent, which means that in the category of low inequality.
