In April 2025, Mamuju experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 3.95 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.99.

Abstract

Year-on-year inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 8.73 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.80 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 1.88 percent; furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance group by 0.74 percent; the health group by 0.51 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.03 percent; the education group by 4.72 percent; the food and beverage services/restaurant group by 1.88 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 2.44 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index were: transportation group by 0.63 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.67 percent.
The month-to-month inflation rate (m-to-m) for April 2025 was 1.56 percent, and the year-to-date (y-to-d) or calendar year inflation for April 2025 was 2.74 percent.
